QUALITY POLICY, ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

Intecsa-Inarsa, S.A. has developed its reputation on the basis of delivery engineering with the highest levels of quality. This is considered a permanent objective in the search for better technical solutions for satisfying our clients.

The Company is conscious of the importance of the Environment as a factor for the well-being and progress of today’s Society and appreciates its responsibility to protect and improve in its plans, studies and projects in the engineering sector. The policy is appropriate to the nature of operational activities (Projects, Processes, Studies, Purchase Management, Project Management, Turnkey Projects, Internal and External Services) that constitute production by the Company, to satisfy the needs of clients and applicable regulation, as well as the magnitude of the environmental impacts of its activities, services and assets both within and beyond the organisation.

The Company has undertaken to develop and implement a system for the prevention of occupational risks integrated with its activities and decisions, both in technical processes and in the organisation of work and working conditions at all levels of the company. The occupational risk prevention policy affects both people that work for the company, facilities, work teams and other stakeholders. The Company’s commitment to Quality, the Environment and Occupational Health and Safety is supported by the Management and the entire organisation as a means to ensure our competitiveness, success and leadership within the Spanish engineering sector and across our international operations.

Quality is an objective that permeates all aspects of our work to ensure the growth and technological progress of the Company and the promotion and professional advancement of all the people that comprise the human resources of the company; its fundamental capital.

Quality, Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety can only be achieved through the decisive drive of Management and the collaboration of a team of highly qualified and motivated people that feel deep satisfaction for a job well done.

  • For all that, the Management renews its commitment to developing its Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies through the following instruments: striving for excellence in our services based on the requirements of Standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2005 and OHSAS 18001:2007 and compliance with the objectives established in the Company’s strategic plan.
  • Establishing Corporate Social Responsibility through the acceptance on the part of the Company’s staff of the Code of Conduct and Ethics, where the actions, monitoring and control are established.
  • Achieving total client satisfaction based on the established general objectives.
  • Involvement of Management in achieving the objectives established in the Company’s strategic plan.
  • Rigorous compliance with legislation and environmental regulation in relation to occupational risks and any other requirements of the Company in this area.
  • Steering of the management system through processes as an essential element in reaching targets.
  • Using the methodology of risk assessment of processes to prevent possible deviations from or non-conformities of the system.
  • Ensuring and incentivizing continuous training in Quality and Environmental Management techniques and across the human map of the Company’s staff.
  • Fostering participation, information and consulting all staff, including external workers who perform work at our facilities, to maintain an appropriate level of prevention in the company.
  • Fostering the participation of staff, through the Health and Safety Committee, to achieve active and fluid collaboration in the implementation and improvement of working conditions.
  • Consideration of Environmental Protection, including the prevention of pollution and the sustainable use of resources.
  • Adaptation to and mitigation of climate change, contributing through calculating the carbon footprint of our activities to establish actions that reduce the impact of our emissions.
  • Compliance with the requirements of stakeholders in a way that satisfies their needs and expectations.
  • Integration of stakeholders (such as partners and subcontractors) in the commitment to Quality, Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Involvement of all staff in the company in our responsibility to manage occupational risks, including contractors and partners in our active commitment to improve working conditions
  • Inclusion in all planning for Works, Studies and Projects carried out by the company, of studies and designs that take into account the life cycle of future phases of construction such as the exploitation and restoration of resources to original levels once their useful life has ended, or alternative proposals that are environmentally acceptable.
  • Focus on planning of prevention with the aim avoiding risks and assessing those that could not be avoided, adopting risk analysis and planning corrective actions to reduce the extent of their effects on workers.
  • Planning prevention of occupational risks in search of a coherent set of measures that cover technical, organisation and working conditions, social relations and the influence of psychosocial and occupational environment factors.
  • Rational use of natural resources in all Company activities, fostering the use of the most environmentally friendly resources.
  • Continuous improvement of environmental performance and quality management of the company, prevention performance and levels of occupational risks, both in relation to activity and services and assets provided in such a way to allow for the constant growth and improvement.
  • Promotion of conscious consideration on the part of all staff in the Company and all stakeholders, in understanding and accepting this Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
  • The integration of prevention in the organisation of the Company shall be developed in such a ways so that any manager overseeing workers must know, comply with, and ensure compliance on the part of others, with the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan approved by Company Management.

Senior Management of the Company is convinced that all staff must understand the importance of this document and of integrating it into their work style.
